Dear Band Boosters,

Our Choo Choo planning meeting was very successful, but we are in need of volunteers for several areas. I'll try and briefly describe the various chairs in need:

HOSPITALITY: 3 people needed

Judges room: serve 2 meals and keep cooler stocked in press box.

Hospitality room: set-up buffet and maintain throughout the day for band directors and staff. This person will also maintain the Hixson volunteer room (pizza, cokes, goodies, etc.)

Request donations: all food is donated by local restaurants and grocery stores. Most supporters have been donating for several years.


BAND GUIDE LEADER:

This person supervises the Hixson Band members and a few adults that lead visiting bands while on our campus.


BUS PARKING:

We do have a chairperson for this position, but he is in need of several volunteers to help out.


PARKING LOT GUIDE:

Although we are not charging to park this year, we need a couple of volunteers to direct traffic through the parking lot.


EQUIPMENT NEEDS:

We are in need of tractors (four-wheelers) to pull equipment to the field, trailers that can be pulled behind the tractors, and golf carts.


CONCESSIONS:

Many volunteers are needed to keep concessions going all day.
